Kunker To East Kalimantan, Jokowi Will Groundbreaking IKN VVIP Airport To BI Building

BALIKPAPAN - Acting Governor of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik welcomed the arrival of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan.

The President and his entourage arrived at Balikpapan Airport using the Indonesian Air Force aircraft, immediately greeted by the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan together with Pangdam VI Mulawarman Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo and East Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Nanang Avianto.

"Welcome Mr. President," said Acting Governor Akmal Malik at Balikpapan Airport as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 31.

"Thank you, Mr. Acting," replied President Joko Widodo.

Akmal explained that during his visit back to East Kalimantan this time, President Jokowi would carry out a number of activities.

On Wednesday (1/11/2023) President Jokowi will ground-breaking IKN VVIP Airport, a number of banking buildings, hospitals and elementary schools around IKN.

Furthermore, on Thursday (2/11/2023, President Jokowi will also conduct groundbreaking for the Bank Indonesia (BI), BPJS and PLTS buildings.

"The President will also review the nurseries of the Minister of Home Affairs," said Acting Governor Akmal.

On the last day of a working visit, President Jokowi will attend the Cultural Harmoni Festival in Sepaku District, Penajam Paser Utara and the Ehau Festival in Barong Tongkok, West Kutai.

"Hopefully all of President Joko Widodo's agenda will run smoothly and successfully," hoped Akmal Malik.
