JAKARTA - The Central PWI management plans to restore the dignity of their organization as at the beginning of its establishment. Hendry CH Bangun, Chairman of the Central PWI, announced this plan in the inaugural meeting of the Advisory Council held at the PWI office on October 18.

According to Hendry, when PWI was first established, their discussions were not only limited to journalism, but also included issues relevant to the nation and state. Therefore, he emphasized that PWI must be active again in the affairs of the life of the nation and state development.

In addition, Hendry CH Bangun emphasized the importance of restoring the integrity and independence of journalists, as guarded at the beginning of the establishment of PWI. "We need to restore the dignity of PWI as when this organization was first established," said Hendry.

Hendry also revealed PWI's initial plan to improve education programs, with the hope that journalists can improve their journalistic abilities and national insight.

The Central PWI Advisory Board consists of nine members, with Ilham Bintang as chairman. Timbo Sihaaan served as vice chairman, and Wina Armada Sukardi as Secretary.
