Minister Of VAT Ensures Revision Of IKN Law Ready To Be Discussed In DPR

JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa explained that the revision of Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital (IKN) is ready to be proposed for discussion in the DPR.

Thus, the discussion on the revision of the IKN Law has been completed at the government level.

"I'm just reporting that the IKN Bill is ready to be discussed in the DPR," said Suharso when met at the Jakarta Presidential Palace complex as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 6.

Suharso also submitted a Presidential Letter (Surpres) regarding the revision of the IKN Law submitted to the DPR RI next week.

Even so, he was reluctant to convey the crucial points agreed by the government in the revision.

"Not yet you will issue my mistake again. The president has a director like this, the minister will run it," said Suharso.

Previously, Suharso detailed the revision of the IKN Law, one of which was intended so that the Nusantara IKN Authority would become more agile in forming business entities.

He mentioned that the revision of the IKN Law includes three main points, namely land, improved institutional authority, and improvement of funding and financing.

Suharso also had time to ensure that the discussion on the revision of the IKN Law would be carried out by the DPR RI during the trial period V of the 2022-2023 Session Year.
