Robbery Specialist Recidivist Gang Arrested In Mangga Besar, Police Find Key Leter T And Sajam In Gucci Brand Bag

The Tamansari Metro Police have arrested a gang of specialists in motorcycle theft with the initials MR (22) and KN (30) who often act in a number of places in Tamansari. The Tamansari Metro Police Chief, Kompol Adhi Wananda said the perpetrators had stolen motorbikes 9 times in the Tamansari area.

One of the thefts committed by the perpetrator occurred on Jalan Kebon Jeruk XI, Maphar Village, Tamansari District, West Jakarta. This incident began when victim Rahmat Hidayat Musa reported that his missing motorbike was stolen by an unknown person on Thursday, April 13.

"The victim reported it to us. The incident occurred when the victim came home from the recitation and was about to break the fast but his motorbike had been stolen," said Kompol Adhi when confirmed, Wednesday, April 26. After receiving the report, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit then conducted an investigation. The team managed to identify the perpetrators.

"The two perpetrators were successfully secured in a boarding house in the Mangga Besar IV area, Tamansari, West Jakarta," he said.

The police also confiscated 2 cellphones, 2 T letter keys, 2 contact key opening magnets, 1 ignition key, 1 match key, sharp knife type weapon, and yellow rubber sarong, multipurpose tang, used glass bunches using narcotics, Gucci black bag where the T letter key and 4 motorbikes are of various types.

After arresting the two perpetrators, the police again carried out developments to dismantle other networks.

"We are still developing other perpetrators who are members of the theft gang," he said.

From the results of the investigation, the two perpetrators with the initials MR and KN were recidivist in a similar case. Both of them also tested positive for drugs. As a result of their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code.
