Mount Karangetang is still on alert level III. The public is asked to comply with the rules for not doing activities 2.5 kilometers from the main crater.

Furthermore, one distant tectonic earthquake was recorded with an amplitude of 40 millimeters, S-P: 13 seconds with a duration of 41 seconds.

In addition, PVMBG appealed to the community around Mount Karangetang to be calm and not to be provoked by issues about the eruption and to always follow directions from the North Sulawesi Provincial BPBD and BPBD of Sitaro Islands Regency.
