2 Days Of Visit To Check ASEAN Summit Locations, Jokowi And Mrs. Iriana Fly Back To Jakarta

Indonesian President Joko Widodo And First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo Visit MICE Golo Mori, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, NTT/ANTARA

LABUAN BAJO - President Joko Widodo took off from Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, Tuesday at 12.20 Central Indonesia Time (WITA) using the presidential plane. It is scheduled that Jokowi and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo will return to Jakarta.

Jokowi has just made a two-day working visit to Labuan Bajo, in March 13-14 2023.

On the first day in Labuan Bajo, reported by Antara, Jokowi stopped by Puncak Waringin after landing at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport at 17.59 WITA.

Furthermore, on the second day of his working visit, Jokowi and his entourage visited several locations where the ASEAN Summit was held, such as the Meruorah Labuan Bajo Hotel, Bajo-Golo Mori Street, the Golo Mori MICE Area, and the Ayana Labuan Bajo Hotel.

When inaugurating Bajo-Golo Mori Street and observing the Golo Mori MICE Area, Jokowi gave a press statement to the media crew present.

He said his visit was to ensure the readiness of Labuan Bajo as the venue for the ASEAN Summit in May 2023.

Jokowi also said that all ASEAN heads of state would attend the international activity.

"I see that several venues are all ready, all that's left is a little touch-up," Jokowi said while visiting the Golo Mori MICE Area, Labuan Bajo, Tuesday.
