According To Central Java Police Records, There Is A Difference Of 31,318 Vehicles Leaving Central Java

JAKARTA - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi said the vehicles leaving Central Java (Central Java) during the 2022 Eid homecoming flow were larger than the incoming vehicles.

During the Lebaran homecoming, said Luthfi, the number of vehicles entering Central Java was 753,345 vehicles. Meanwhile, the return flow of vehicles leaving Central Java reached 784,663.

"This means that there is a difference between going back and forth between 31,318 vehicles leaving Central Java," explained Ahmad Luthfi in a written statement, Tuesday, May 10.

According to Luthfi, the difference between the homecoming and return flows is due to the long duration of the homecoming, while the return flow is so short.

"That's the result of our evaluation," he said.

On the other hand, Lutfi admits that crime during the Eid period increases. The crime rate is up 295 percent.

"This has become a prediction of the Ditreskrimsus and Ditreskrimum of the Central Java Police that the needs of the community will increase, the crime rate will also increase," he said.

During the Eid homecoming period, Luthfi said, there were no prominent cases that came to the attention of the Central Java Police and all incidents could be resolved until the case was resolved.

Although the Ketupat Candi 2022 operation has been completed, the Central Java Police are still protecting the backflow and at tourist attractions.

"There will be enhanced police activities (KKYD). The Central Java Police will evaluate which points or posts still need to be maintained, such as posts in rest areas and tourist spots," he explained.
