Man Killed By Sajam, Found Mining In Cakung BKT River
JAKARTA - The body of an unidentified man was found floating on his stomach in the East Flood Canal (BKT) River Cakung, East Jakarta, Friday, November 10. Cakung Police Chief Kompol Panji Ali Candra said the alleged death of the victim was suspected of being murdered.
"The temporary suspicion is murder, but we are still investigating," said Kompol Panji, Friday, November 10.
Kompol Panji said the allegation arose because the condition of the body's neck contained cuts due to sharp weapons (sajam).
In addition, the body of the body was found with several similar cuts.
"The wounds on the chest and neck must have used sharp weapons, stab wounds and cuts to the neck, for wounds to the hands of possible casualties," he said.
Kompol Panji revealed that when he was found wearing brown shorts and blue t-shirts.

According to Panji, the victim may have been killed in another area. Regarding the discovery in the river, Panji continued, it is possible that the body was washed away.
"The possibility here is only a disposal site. The execution is not here," he said.
Furthermore, the location of the discovery of the body has been given a police line by officers from the Cakung Police. Meanwhile, the joint officers from BPBD, DAMKAR, and Cakung Police have been evacuated to the Police Hospital for further identification.
