PT Surveyor Indonesia's I-SIM For Regency Program Followed By 103 Regencies, Targeting SDGs 2030
JAKARTA - PT Surveyor Indonesia (PTSI) in July 2023 has launched the Integrated Sustainability Indonesia Movement (I-SIM) for Regency program. This is the second program, after PTSI previously succeeded through I-SIM for Cities.
I-SIM is an initiative program with a rating & awarding scheme to increase the integration and collaboration of multi-stakeholders of the Indonesian SDGs ecosystem at the Regency level. Surveyors Indonesia collaborated with the Ministry of Bappenas and the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (APKASI) and the Regional Autonomy Implementation Monitoring Committee (KPPOD).
This program is in line with Presidential Decree 111 of 2022, concerning the Implementation of the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) Article 3. In this article it is mandated that the national TPB target in 2024 is used as a guide for the Regional Government in the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the TPB RAD together with the relevant ministries.
"The local government is one of the important actors in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Agenda in 2030," said President Director of PT Surveyor Indonesia, M. Haris Witjaksono, in his statement, Tuesday, October 3.
The I-SIM for Regencies 2023 program was recorded to be attended by 103 regencies in Indonesia. Now, this program is entering the verification and validation stage of the 157 ISIM indicator data. These indicators are the result of multi-party collaboration between development partners and director partners from the government, regional government associations, academics, research institutions, the private sector, and NGOs.
PTSI together with APKASI Visited 12 selected districts representing islands in Indonesia with criteria for I-SIM data quality and 100% data filling and sending superior programs in an effort to achieve SDGs. The 12 regencies consist of Bandung, Bantul, Bogor, Dharmasraya, Gowa, Karo, Magelang, South Tapanuli, North Tapanuli, Temanggung, Sinjai and Pangkajene and Islands.
"Direct verification and validation can be a forum for districts in an effort to disclose SDGs (Disclosure) achievement data, impact (Impact) and leadership commitment in accelerating the achievement of SDGs which is an important aspect in the final assessment carried out by Panelist Jury ISIM For Regencies," said Chairman of Verificator ISIM, Muhrina A Hasibuan, Sustainability Expert of PTSI.

"This I-SIM for Regency is important as a forum for disclosing data and actions to measure the achievements of the respective SDGs in Indonesia," added Haris.
Not only that, the results of the I-SIM Report can be a reference and recommendation in the preparation of regional strategic plans (RAD). In its implementation, this program is also a forum for learning and sharing experiences between districts regarding efforts to achieve the SDGs program in 2030.
"In addition, this program will reogniZE and give regional appreciation for the reputation of sustainability," concluded Haris.
