Israel Launches Attacks With Night Drones To The West Bank: Two Palestinians Killed And 12 Injured

JAKARTA - Israeli forces killed two Palestinians and injured at least 12 others in attacks on the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

The Israeli army confirmed its troops carried out an operation in Jenin on Tuesday night, revealing a drone had attacked the main refugee camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said in a statement his troops were in the Palestinian city for operations "needed to thwart terrorist activities," as reported by The National News September 20.

Meanwhile, Palestinian officials said a young man was shot in the stomach and taken to the hospital in critical condition. He later died.

The ministry later said another Palestinian who suffered a gunshot wound was taken to hospital, also died on arrival.

Sources said large Israeli military forces had stormed the camps and surrounded two houses.

The Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent in Jenin Mahmoud Sadi reported the "sound of explosions and gunfire" blocking the rescue team's access to the scene of violence.

The identities of the dead victims are not yet known. However, the camps are known as militant camps and Israel often carried out arrest attacks in the area.

In July, Israel carried out the most intense operation in the West Bank in nearly two decades, causing widespread destruction in the camp.
