Bengkalis Police Chase Luxury House Robbers Hit And Cut ART To Death
RIAU - Police are hunting for the perpetrators of the robbery of a luxury house in Bengkalis City, Riau, which killed a household assistant (ART). The robbery took place on Friday, September 8 at around 07.00 WIB.
"There were two people in the house, and from the report we immediately carried out a siege and combed around the house looking for the perpetrator and but were not found. From the CCTV footage, it turned out that the perpetrator had come out through the side door before we arrived," said Bengkalis Police Chief, AKBP Setyo Bimo Anggoro in Bengkalis, Riau Province, Friday, September 8, confiscated by Antara.
Setyo explained that the initials SR (35) died from a blunt object blow and a knife cut in the face.
Meanwhile, another household member survived and reported the incident to the Bengkalis Police.
Officers who came to the scene received information that the robber was still inside the businessman's house.
From the crime scene (TKP) it was found that the characteristics of the perpetrator were about 170 cm tall, wearing a blue jeans black shirt, wearing a headgear and carrying a bag.
"The rice is white, curly hair, thin body and around 30 years old," said Setyo.
The chronology of the incident began on Friday, September 8 at around 07.00 WIB, the perpetrator entered through the back fence of Awi's businessman's house on Rumbia Street, Bengkalis City, Riau Province.
At that time the perpetrator hid in a generator warehouse. The perpetrator waited until the owner of the house opened the back door.
However, the victim who opened the door to the kitchen of the house. The perpetrator immediately arrested and injured the victim with a knife and hammer.
"After the victim was paralyzed, the perpetrator then taped his mouth and tied the victim's hands and feet. The victim, covered in blood, was dragged into the house," he said.

At around 08.00 WIB, after executing the victim, the perpetrator was helpless and remained silent in the bathroom. Furthermore, Ema's whereabouts were discovered by one of the ARTs who was going to the bathroom, resulting in a fight between the two.
The perpetrator said to Ema that she would release the victim on condition of being silent. Then the perpetrator searched the drawer and cupboard at home but did not find valuables and then fled.
