The Yahukimo Papua Regional Government Office Building Caught Fire, The Cause Was Investigated By The Police
JAYAPURA - Yahukimenyelidiki police investigation into the case of the fire of a multipurpose building that houses three agencies in the ranks of the Yahukimo Regional Government in Dekai, Papua.
Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, said the fire that occurred on Thursday, August 24 at around 00.48 WIT scorched the multipurpose building that houses it.
The Village Community Empowerment Agency (BPMK), the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Yahukimo Regency Regional Revenue Service (Dispenda).
The fire of a building located on Kurima Street, Dekai District, was first received by the joint apparatus through HT communication which stated that there had been a fire at the BPMK office, PTSP office, and the Yahukimo Regency Dispenda office.
After receiving the report, a joint member of the Yahukimo Police, the Cartenz Peace Task Force, and personnel from the Papua Police Mobile Brigade Kle TKP, but the building was already on fire.
The location of the incident has now been installed with a police line, and is trying to reveal the cause of the fire.
"There were no casualties in the incident and it is not certain how much the loss was," said Kombes Benny, quoted by ANTARA.
