Russian Defense Minister Visits Ukraine's War Frontline
JAKARTA - Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu on Friday visited Russian troops on the front lines of war in Ukraine.
Shoygu met with troops, and received guidance on the current situation from commander Andrey Mordvichev.
In addition, Shoigu also received briefings on the implementation of combat tasks and opposing actions, the Russian Ministry of Defense said as reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Friday, August 4.
Shoigu Defense underlined the importance of artillery preparation before storming the opponent's position.
He said the measures could ensure the maximum safety of the lives and health of Russian soldiers.

The war commanders also showed Western military weapons and equipment confiscated by Russian forces.
They show that the Western supply fighting vehicle is often supplied without spare parts and repair equipment so that it cannot be repaired once it is damaged.
Russia started a "special military operation" in Ukraine in February last year, with the aim of protecting ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine.
