Damri Opens Route To Kertajati Majalengka Airport From Bandung And Cirebon Every Wednesday And Sunday
MAJALENGKA - Damri Public Company (Perum) is ready to support transportation services to Kertajati Airport in Majalengka Regency, West Java.
"Initially, Damri provided as many as four units of fleets that were prepared to serve the route to Kertajati Airport," said Damri Corporate Communication Listna Nurul Hikmah in a statement, Sunday, July 30, quoted by Antara.
The Damri route to Kertajati Airport includes Bandung-Kertajati Airport with a tariff of Rp. 150,000, Cirebon-Kertajati Airport of Rp. 80,000, and Kuningan-Kertajati Airport of Rp. 100,000.
For now, said Lishna, Damri serves the three routes that operate two days a week, namely Wednesday and Sunday. This is to adjust the regular flight schedule at Kertajati Airport.
He explained that departure tickets from Bandung can be ordered through Damri counters located at Cicaheum Terminal.
Meanwhile, departures from Cirebon can be ordered through Damri counters at the RM Brawijaya Transportation Supervisory Officer Post and departures from Kuningan can be ordered through a counter at Kuningan Terminal.
In addition, in welcoming the flight transition at Kertajati Airport starting October 2023, Damri has also made various preparations, ranging from route permits, fleets, counters, and preparation of counter officers and supervisors as well as application for booking tickets through e-ticketing.
Previously, the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi discussed the preparation of intermodal integration and investment opportunities at Kertajati Airport.

The Minister of Transportation said that after serving Hajj and Umrah, Kertajati Airport is preparing to serve air passengers according to the plan to transfer the operations of Husein Sastranegara Airport to Kertajati Airport in October 2023.
Therefore, the Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Land Transportation has made efforts to meet the integration of modes to and from Kertajati Airport on the Bandung and Cirebon City routes by bus and travel agents.
