The King The Land Drama Production Team Explains Allegations Of Lowering Arabic Culture

JAKARTA - The latest episode of Korean drama King the Land scored the highest rating, but it appeared at the same time as public protests about the storyline. Episodes 7 and 8 which aired Saturday and Sunday, July 8-9 received negative comments from the audience.

In the latest episode, the character Prince Samir (Anuam Tripathi) is present at the King Hotel. Samir was a good friend of Gu Won (Lee Junho) when they studied abroad.

Samir visited the Gu Won hotel and fell in love with Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA) to invite him to marry. This made Gu Won jealous of Sa Rang and forbade the two to communicate.

The story continues and Samir is told as a Kasanova man or womanizer who is often close to several women. One scene shows Gu Won calling Samir a liar and having fun at a nightclub with several women.
