NTB Provincial Government Observes The Entry Of Al Zaytun Teachings That Are Allegedly Deviant
NTB - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has asked people in their area not to be provoked by the controversy of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Indramayu, West Java (Jabar).
"This has become a national concern, although on the one hand there are our people who express their aspirations about it (Ponpes Al Zaytun, ed), we hope to jointly maintain regional conduciveness," said the Regional Secretary (Sekda) NTB, Lalu Gita Ariadi in Mataram, NTB, Thursday 6 July, confiscated by Antara.
He said, even if there are people who want to express their aspirations, they will certainly be conveyed while still prioritizing regional conduciveness, because after all, regional conditions are the most important.
"Of course, our aspirations must be controlled together, let's create a calm, comfortable and safe atmosphere, especially in our political year to maintain the momentum of this economic revival," he said.
The NTB National Unity and Domestic Politics Agency (Bakesbangpoldagri) oversees the entry of teachings from Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School alumni, to the region.
The head of the NTB Baresbang Poldagri, Ruslan Abdul Gani, said that monitoring continues to be intensified by the ranks of the provincial government together with the NTB Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).
It's just that, he said, until now there has not been found any teaching or deviant sects from the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School entering the area.
"A few years ago, there were our sons and daughters from NTB who went to school there. We must monitor it, we have anticipated the movement to NTB. Don't let the same thing happen in NTB. But I emphasize that there is no sect or heretical teachings in NTB," he said.

Ruslan said that his party continues to coordinate with the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) to anticipate the emergence of teachings or sects of religious hereticals. So that when there are symptoms or problems related to religion, they are immediately addressed.
Moreover, he continued, existing networks will be more massive so that before appearing to the surface detection can be carried out.
"There is early detection, all anticipated. But Alhamdulillah there are no symptoms in NTB. Although there are information related to irregularities related to teachings that should be known quickly. Thank God it did not develop, it did not appear," he said.
Regarding the number of alumni of Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School who come from NTB. Ruslan said that his party did not have the exact number.
However, his party is conducting monitoring in the field. Anticipating heretical teachings in NTB, in June his party had held a coordination meeting at the NTB High Prosecutor's Office.
"Even though there are symptoms, we were facilitated by a meeting at the prosecutor's office one month ago regarding the anticipation of heretical flow problems. Alhamdulillah, there was nothing according to my latest data to attend a meeting at the prosecutor's office," he said.
