Ministry Of Religion Says Candidates For Lampung Hajj Pilgrims Can Pay Departure Fees Until May 19
LAMPUNG - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) revealed that there was an extension of the time for paying the hajj fee for prospective pilgrims in Lampung Province.
"There is the latest information regarding the payment of the Hajj fee, where the government provides an extension of the payment period," said Head of the Lampung Regional Office (Kanwil) Puji Raharjo, in Bandarlampung, Monday, May 15, confiscated by Antara.
He said the period for extending the payment of the Hajj costs would last until May 19.
"Services from 08.00-15.00 WIB are carried out every day, and Friday 19 May tomorrow is the last limit. The Lampung hajj quota is 7,050 people," he said.

He explained that from the predetermined quota, there were still 190 people who had not paid the Hajj fee.
"There are still less than 190 people, this will be able to pay off during the extension of the hope that all of them can leave. Then we also have the opportunity to get an additional quota of 300 people from the additional Indonesian quota obtained by 8,000 people," he said.
He continued that the addition is expected to accelerate the departure of pilgrims who are still on the waiting list.
"We all have 6,000 regular Hajj candidates. As for the reserve hajj candidates, there are 1,700 people. And currently, the number of prospective reserve and regular Hajj pilgrims who have paid is 6,775 people," he concluded.
