PAMEKASAN - Head of Public Relations of the Sampang Police, Ipda Sujianto, dismissed reports of gunfire against a car in front of the Sokobanah Koramil which spread a lot in various WhatsApp groups.
"The car that fell into a ditch in front of the Sokobanah Koramil, Sampang Regency, had a single accident, not a gunshot," said Sujianto, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 2.
Previously, the news of the alleged shooting of the car with the number M 1660 HD was spread through video footage. The position of the car hit an electric pole in front of the gate.
On the front, the car was crushed and the windshield was broken, as if it had been hit by a hard object. The video recorder also showed the condition of the inside of the car including bloodstains in the car.
"Saleng shooting and shooting marriage were weak. The driver was a laborer," said the video recorder in Madura. This means shooting each other last night and the driver ran away.
This one-minute video has finally spread widely in various WhatsApp and social media groups.
"We have an interest in straightening out the news that spread on social media so as not to misunderstand. It is true that there was an accident, there was a wrecked car and there was a glass wound on the front that was hit, but, it was not because of gunfire, but because of a single accident," he said.
