The City Government Of North Jakarta Offers Residents Of Kampung Susun Bayam To Move To Rusunawa Owned By The DKI Provincial Government
The polemic of Kampung Susun Bayam is still not over. The residents of the former Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) eviction have not been able to occupy Kampung Susun Bayam, which is projected to be their residence.
Seeing this problem, the Mayor (Walkot) of North Jakarta (Jakut) Ali Maulana Hakim admitted that his party offered an alternative solution to the residents of Kampung Bayam to live in a simple rented flat (rusunawa) owned by the DKI Provincial Government.
"If the residents want to go to the flats. Anyone can propose (to inhabit the flats), as long as it is in accordance with the requirements of the Housing Service. This is just an oral offer," said Ali at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, April 26.
If the residents of Kampung Bayam agree to move to the flats, the East Jakarta City Government will look for units that are still available to live in. One of them is located in Nagrak Flat, Cilincing, which was the isolation location for COVID-19 patients.
"Our flats don't have a purely empty location, except for the Nagrak Flats, we will definitely look for the empty ones. Then, the empty flats we look for," said Ali.
So far, Ali continued, several residents of Kampung Bayam have been invited to communicate by the East Jakarta City Government regarding the offer to inhabit the flats. However, no one has yet stated that they are willing to leave Kampung Susun Bayam.
"We have only communicated one or two people as representatives of the residents. Their answers are still thinking about it. Yes, we'll just have to wait," he said.
"If you're still thinking about it, it means that there is no choice, they still want to be there (Kampung Susun Bayam). I'll just feel sorry if there is no solution later, I'll wait a long time," he continued.

Since Kampung Susun Bayam was inaugurated by former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswdan in October 2022, residents of Kampung Bayam have not been able to occupy the residence until now.
Why have residents not been able to occupy Kampung Susun Bayam yet? VP Corporate Secretary of PT Jakpro Syachrial Syarif explained, even though it was built by Jakpro, Kampung Susun Bayam stands on land or assets belonging to the DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora).
Therefore, Jakpro is still struggling with the administrative process that can legalize the operations of the KSB building located next to JIS.
"We need legal force, legality is needed. KSB is a building on the provincial government's land. If we want to rent the equipment, the building above it certainly needs legal clarity, clarity of legality. Don't let it be behind the day, because our maladministration is actually facing the law," said Syachrial some time ago.
Then, one problem that causes residents to not yet occupy Kampung Susun Bayam is the amount of the occupancy rental rate per month which has not yet been agreed upon. Jakpro is determined to set a tariff of around Rp. 600 thousand to Rp. 700 thousand per month. In contrast to the demands of the residents of Kampung Bayam who demand a rental fee of only Rp. 150 thousand per month.
