Ferry Irawan's Attorney Hopes That Venna Melinda And His Client Will Not Reveal Each Other's Disgrace
JAKARTA - Ferry Irawan seems uncomfortable with all the reports about him that have been revealed by his wife, Venna Melinda. Since the alleged case of Domestic Violence (KDRT) emerged into the public eye, both Venna Melinda, Hotman Paris Hutapea as her attorney, and her two children, Verrell Bramasta and Athalla Naufal, have often told stories about Ferry's figure.
Jeffry Simatupang as Ferry Irawan's attorney hopes that no wild issues will be thrown into the public. He hopes that the problems in the family can be resolved in a family way.
"Of course the first one, if there really is an effort to make peace, come on together how to solve this as a family. But on the other hand, let's say there are no peace efforts, we focus on the legal process. No more issues, no more exposing each other's mistakes. Since the legal process is already underway, let's respect the legal process," said Jeffry in a virtual meeting with the media crew on Tuesday, January 24.
He felt that all statements that the reporting party wanted to convey should be included in the Minutes of Examination (BAP) when meeting with investigators. "Everything can be stated in the Minutes of Examination, so it doesn't result in wild news out there," he said.
The lawyer from Ferry Irawan hopes that both parties can focus only on existing legal issues. "Our hope is like that, so that we as legal advisers can focus on the law enforcement process," he continued.

Talking about the video of his client's apology which has been widely circulated, Jeffry stated that he had no intention of taking legal action. So far, his party has only studied further about the video, which was first revealed on Denny Sumargo's podcast.
However, he did not deny that his client was disturbed by the circulation of the apology video. "From Mr. Ferry himself, with the spread of the video, he has expressed objections. Because it's a personal, private video, with the aim of how Mr. Ferry establishes communication," he said.
Jeffry once again explained that his party would focus on the report that Venna Melinda complained about against his client, especially the defense strategy if peace failed to be reached.
"We don't want to focus on cases other than the alleged crime that Mr. Ferry is currently facing. Beyond that, everything is an external factor, an additional factor. Our focus is how to carry out this legal process properly, what is our strategy for defending later, if peace efforts are not possible," he concluded.
