Coachella Festival to Be Streamed Live on YouTube

JAKARTA - The Coachella 2023 music and arts festival performances which will be held on April 14-16 and April 21-23 will be broadcast live from the event location via the YouTube platform.

This was announced by YouTube through a written statement on their official blog page. Coachella's live broadcast is an extension of promoter Goldenvoice's partnership with YouTube that will continue until 2026. This year's festival marks the 11th year of collaboration between the two parties.

“It is an absolute honor to continue our partnership with Goldenvoice to bring the magic of Coachella to music fans around the world,” said Global Head of Music at YouTube Lyor Cohen Tuesday local time.

However, in the official announcement, YouTube did not mention in detail whether all the performers at the Coachella festival series would be broadcast live.

According to YouTube, quoted from Antara, the Coachella concert broadcast will continue to incorporate new elements and integration of YouTube products, ranging from behind-the-scenes content on YouTube Shorts to integration of live streams and playlists to YouTube and YouTube Music.

In addition, the results of the partnership also bring exclusive merchandise, exclusive content, live chat, to promotional activities with YouTube creators and artists.

Coachella is a music festival that fans around the world have been waiting for. This year, Coachella will present more than 100 musicians from various countries including three main performers namely Blackpink, Bad Bunny, and Frank Ocean. The 22nd Coachella Festival will be held at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, United States.
