DKI Provincial Government Recorded 15 Percent Of Facilities At RPTRA Jakarta Is Damaged
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Department of Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control (DPPAPP), Tuty Kusumawati, revealed that 15 percent of facilities in child-friendly integrated public spaces (RPTRA) in Jakarta are in damaged condition.
The data was obtained by Tuty from the results of the monthly report recapitulation of RPTRA managers through the RPTRA TP PKK focus of DKI Jakarta Province as of September 2022 regarding the condition of facilities or infrastructure (sarpras) at RPTRA.
"There are a total of 1,741 Sarpras data in the RPTRA that are used directly by RPTRA visitors. Of the 1,741 Sarpras, as many as 265 goods, 15.39 percent are in poor condition or damaged," said Tuty in her statement, Monday, November 7.
Meanwhile, 1,456 sarpras in RPTRA Jakarta, or 84.61 percent are still in good condition.
Tuty detailed, there were 8 sarpras recorded. Among them are 591 swings with a damage percentage of 15.40 percent, 360 slides with a damage percentage of 15.28 percent, and 338 seesaws with a damage percentage of 12.72 percent.

Then, there are 38 world balls with a percentage of damage of 15.79 percent, 24 rotating bowls with a percentage of damage of 25 percent, 255 playgrounds with a percentage of damage of 15.69 percent, 27 balance bridges with a percentage of damage of 18.59 percent, and 88 sports equipment with a percentage of damage 21.59 percent.
She continued, based on Article 1 Number 35 Pergub Number 123 of 2017, it was stated that RPTRA management is a maintenance activity, maintenance of the RPTRA area which includes installation and payment of ROPE, maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, stationery and office operations, security, cleanliness, and management services.
Meanwhile, Article 15 Paragraph (2) of the Governor's Regulation Number 123 of 2017 states that the budgeting authority for RPTRA management is budgeted through each village.
"This is reinforced by the Governor's decision regarding the appointment of the lurah as the power user for regional property in the form of buildings and other facilities at the RPTRA," said Tuty.
