Scored 700th Goal At Club Level, This Is Cristiano Ronaldo's Upload That Became A Highlight

JAKARTA - Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal during his team's 2-1 win over Everton in the English Premier League, Monday, October 10, early morning WIB. This is Ronaldo's 700th goal at the club level.

The player who is familiarly called CR7 actually did not appear from the start in this match. He came on in the 28th minute for the injured Anthony Martial.

Ronaldo then only needed 15 minutes to make an important contribution. Receiving Casemiro's pass, Ronaldo calmly completed the opportunity with a clinical left-footed shot. The ball slid smoothly into Jordan Pickford's goal.

Interestingly, Ronaldo did not talk about his goal against Everton in that match. He actually commented on the victory achieved by MU.

"Great win guys! Another step in the right direction! #WeStandUnited" Ronaldo wrote on his Instagram account.

However, he later uploaded his achievements. However, he didn't want to accept the compliment himself.

"What a beautiful number we have achieved together! Thank you to all my teammates, coaches, club, family & friends, and of course my fans. United, we carry on!" said Ronaldo.

Ronaldo's success in scoring the 700th goal received praise from many parties. Including from two English legends, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

"700 club goals for @cristiano incredible. That's 35 goals per season for 20 years. Ridiculous!" Lineker wrote on social media Twitter.

"700th career club goal @Cristiano wowza," Shearer tweeted.

United manager Erik ten Hag did not miss to praise Ronaldo after the forward hit a milestone in his career. "It's really impressive, when you score 700 goals, it's an incredible performance," said the Dutchman.

"I'm very happy for him, I congratulate him on the performance and I'm also happy it was his first goal in the Premier League this season. He will have to wait and I'm sure there will be more goals."
