Throgh The Door Of The House, Two Thieves In Cilegon Arrested After Taking A Honda Beat Motorcycle
CILEGON - The Cilegon Police Resmob Team, the Banten Police, arrested two specialists in the theft of motor vehicles (Curanmor). Head of Criminal Investigation at the Cilegon Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police M Nandar, said the perpetrators were two recidivists, RY (17) a resident of Cibeber Sub-district, and AS (27) a resident of Waringin Kurung District.
"It is true that our party has arrested two recidivist perpetrators of motor vehicle theft," said Nandar in a written statement, Monday, July 25.
Nandar explained that on Saturday, July 16, at around 19.00 western Indonesia time, the victim entered a white and red Honda Beat motorcycle with police number A 5057 SH, but the ignition key was left hanging on the motorcycle.
The next day, continued Nandar, at around 06.00 western Indonesia time, the nephew of the victim MM was going to LL's house. At that moment he realized that the door to the house was open and the motorcycle was gone.
"It is suspected that the perpetrator entered the house by prying out a window, then took a motorcycle that was hanging on the key and went out through the front door. Knowing the incident, brother LL immediately reported the incident to the Mancak Police for immediate action," said Nandar.
After receiving the report, they immediately arrested the perpetrators.

"On Sunday (July 24) at around 01.00 at RY's rented house in Cibeber District, the two perpetrators were arrested along with evidence in the form of a Honda Beat motorcycle number A-5057-SH which has been changed to A-2254-UJ," he explained.
Nandar explained, before the action, the perpetrator had gone around on a motorcycle from Cibeber to Mancak. And when he arrived at the victim's house, the perpetrator found the house was deserted at that time. The perpetrator RY got out of the vehicle, while the perpetrator AS waited outside.
The police confiscated evidence in the form of two Honda Beat motorcycles belonging to the perpetrator and the victim, an ignition key and a screwdriver.
As a result of his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with a weighted threat of imprisonment for 7 years.
