Two Debt Collectors Dragged By Police When They Wanted To Steal The Victim's Motorcycle In Cengkareng

JAKARTA - The Cengkareng Police have arrested two debt collectors who robbed a motorbike belonging to a motorist named Septian in the Rawa Buaya area, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta. Both perpetrators have the initials DM and RS.

The Cengkareng Police Chief, Commissioner Ardhie Demastyo, said the two were secured by members after receiving reports from the public. Then the members moved to the scene before the eagle eyes took off like the victim's motorbike.

"So their method is to accuse the victim of being in arrears on the motorbike installments," said Ardhie, Wednesday, June 1.

According to the police chief, at the time of the incident, there were three people blocking the victim's vehicle. However, knowing the arrival of the police, one person managed to escape. Even so, his party has identified the name of the eagle eye (debt collector) who managed to escape.

"We are still investigating one other perpetrator, currently members are still being chased by members in the field," he said.

This jasmine-ranked police officer suspects that the perpetrators after the seizure did not hand over to leasing. But instead, sell to other people at a low price.

However, to make sure the Police Chief will explore the allegation.

"So it is very disturbing to the drivers of this debt collector group," he said.

Ardhie appealed to motorcyclists who were intercepted by eagle eyes to immediately report to the police. Because his party did not hesitate to carry out legal proceedings against unscrupulous debt collectors who robbed them by force.

"So don't be afraid to report because we will protect the community," he said.
