Dedicate Scudetto To Mino Raiola, Zlatan Ibrahimovic: He Said, I'm The Only One Who Can Save Milan
JAKARTA - Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels he has kept his promise to bring AC Milan back to win the Scudetto. He dedicates this title to his late agent, Mino Raiola.
Ibrahimovic was part of AC Milan in the 2010-2012 period, but he moved to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after giving the Rossoneri the Scudetto and Supercoppa Italiana trophies. A decade on, Ibra decided to return to the San Siro in 2020.
On the second occasion in the red and black uniform, Ibrahimovic was determined to start his journey again towards the struggle for the Scudetto. Ibrahimovic's determination was triggered by Milan's condition, which when he arrived was in the middle of a title famine.
The living legend's strong determination finally paid off after a long effort with his colleagues. In the final Serie A match against Sassuolo Sunday, May 22, Milan won 3-0 and also won the 2021/2022 season.
This achievement is considered by Ibrahimovic as a promise that he can finally keep. Because he is still able to prove his toughness with Milan.
"It's amazing, I was here last time Milan won and 11 years later we won it and I'm here again", the 40-year-old said as quoted by Football Italia, Monday.
"I arrived here making a promise and keeping it. A lot of people laughed when I said we were going to win the Scudetto again, but we worked hard and showed the team what it means to suffer for your results", Ibrahimovic added.

For Ibrahimovic, winning the Scudetto also coincided with a sad event. At the end of April, his agent and mentor, Mino Raiola, died and Ibrahimovic had time to accompany the agent at his bedside.
For that, Ibrahimovic is proud to present this Scudetto to the agent who clearly played a big role in the process of his return to AC Milan.
“I dedicate this to Mino (Raiola), he was one of those who wanted me at Milan and told me that I was the only one who could save Milan. I dedicate this trophy to him", said Ibrahimovic proudly.
