The Doll 3 Is Ready To Air On May 26, 2022, Winky Wiryanan: It's A Relief

JAKARTA - The Doll 3 is ready to be released in theaters on May 26, 2022. The screening of this film has been delayed by 2 years due to the pandemic. When holding the Gala Premiere at Senayan City, Saturday, May 21, the casts said they were relieved.

"Finally, the film is also showing. Curious about the edits, how will it turn out, is it satisfying?" Winky said to the reporters.

Winky said shooting this film required a lot of patience because it had to compete with dolls. "When we entered the character, the expression was correct. Suddenly, the doll was shot at the wrong night, smiling, so it was repeated. When the doll was correct, our mood disappeared. So we have to be really patient," he added.

Jessica Mila feels the same way. "It's definitely a relief. Praise God it will be released after waiting for so long. And happy. I'm really excited because this is also a film that I think is very challenging," said Jessica Mila, who plays Tara.

“The first time I had to do a scene with a doll. And the dolls are also animatronics, which is also the first time in Indonesia," she continued.

The director and producer of this film, Rocky Soraya, said that The Doll 3 was not only broadcasted in Indonesia. The film has been confirmed to be screened in a total of 300 theaters including in Far East Asia to Brazil.

“It will also be broadcasted overseas. In Far East Asia and also Brazil. It has been confirmed and some are showing in cinemas, especially those in Asia," explained Rocky.

"Not all at once, some 2 weeks later, some 3 weeks later. There is also a month later. It all depends on the calendar they gave us,” he continued.

The Doll 3 tells the story of Tara and Gian, siblings who have to survive after being abandoned by their parents. However, Gian is still traumatized by the accident that killed his parents.

Gian finally decided to commit suicide and left his sister. Feeling lost, Tara asks a shaman for help to recall her brother's spirit. The shaman also manages to bring her brother's spirit into the Bobby doll, which is Gian's favorite doll.

Gian finally lives again with Tara. Unfortunately, the negative energy in the spirit realm had made Gian a different person.

This film offers an unusual terror from Bobby doll. Anger and disappointment make Gian and Bobby's doll blindly attack everyone Tara loves. Now Tara must fight to stop Gian's steps.
