Arriving In Indonesia To Complete The Naturalization Process, Jordi Amat: I'm Very Happy To Be Here
JAKARTA - Jordi Amat arrived in Indonesia from Barcelona, Spain on Saturday night. Amat is a candidate for Indonesian naturalization player.
The moment of Amat's arrival was uploaded by PSSI through their official Instagram account. In the video shown, PSSI wrote the caption: "See who's coming?"
Amat himself seems very happy. The former Swansea City player expressed his pleasure in being in Indonesia.
"Hello Indonesia, I am very happy to be here," said Amat in English.
Amat's arrival in Indonesia to complete naturalization matters. PSSI Secretary-General Yunus Nusi said Sandy Walsh would follow next week after completing all his affairs in Belgium.
“We are very grateful to Kemenpora and Kemenkumham who have been helping this naturalization process. The administrative process has been running and we hope that everything goes smoothly so that both Jordi and Sandy can immediately strengthen the Indonesian national team,'' Yunus Nusi said on the federation's website.
The naturalization process for these two players was accelerated at the request of Shin Tae-Yong. If the naturalization process can run quickly, they may be able to join the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification event in early June in Kuwait.
Yunus Nusi also held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on April 26.
At that time the PSSI representative was received by the Director-General of General Legal Administration (DG AHU) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Cahyo Rahadian Muzhar, and the Director of State Administration at the Directorate General of AHU of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Baroto.

While in Jakarta, Jordi, who plays for a club in KAS Eupen, Belgium, will visit the Spanish Embassy in Indonesia. In addition, he also did a medical check-up at a hospital in Jakarta.
