Valentino Rossi Finally Returns To The MotoGP Track!
JAKARTA - Valentino Rossi has finally returned to the MotoGP track after retiring last season. However, this time not as a racer of course.
Valentino Rossi returns to the track to monitor his team's rider, Mooney VR46 Racing Team, during the Portugal MotoGP race, Sunday, April 24. This is the first time he has directly monitored his team after previously being busy with a car racing agenda.
The Italian man approached Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi on the starting grid before the race started. Valentino Rossi was also interviewed regarding his team.
"This is a new team, so we have to take experience. However, the team's work is good," said the holder of seven MotoGP world titles.
The 43-year-old man then shared his impressions about his new job as a four-wheeled vehicle racer. He admits there is a stark difference, but still enjoys it.
"Four-wheel racing is very different, but I really enjoy it. The car goes very fast and there are many strong drivers, so I enjoy it," said The Doctor.
In the Portuguese MotoGP race, two team riders from Valentino Rossi achieved satisfactory results. Marini picked up four points after finishing 12th, while Bezzecchi got one point by finishing in the 15th.
