JAKARTA - Marvel presents its newest series titled Moon Knight. This series is the first title released by the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) this year.

Synopsis

Moon Knight tells of Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac), a soldier who suffers from a dissociative identity disorder. Then he became an avatar of a Khonshu Egyptian called Moon Knight.

The character Moon Knight first appeared in Werewolf by Night in 1975 and developed into a series in 1980.

Cast

The Moon Knight series stars a number of well-known actors and actresses such as Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, Arthur Harrow, May Calamawy, F. Murray Abraham, and Fernanda Andrade.

In addition, there is Gaspard Ulliel who died on January 20 last. He got a role in the MCU as Midnight Man and Moon Knight became his last project.

Long duration

Some of the MCU series that air on Disney+ have a duration of 30 minutes but this time it's different for Moon Knight. Reportedly, this series episode will be 50 minutes long with a complex storyline.

"There are so many complex themes to choose from that we found it difficult to hold up to 45 minutes per episode," said Grant Curtis as showrunner citing Screen Rant.

Season 2

Not a few have asked if Moon Knight will continue into the second season. But Kevin Feige as the big boss of Marvel only confirmed one season of the story. This series will continue to see a massive response from the serial audience.
