Call For Rematch Against Thor 'The Mountain' Bjornsson, Eddie Hall: I Enjoyed It, Hope We Can Do Business Again

JAKARTA - Saturday night witnessed how Thor 'The Mountain' Bjornsson defeated Eddie Hall in what many call a Super Heavyweight boxing duel.

But it didn't stop there, the Englishman did not hesitate to immediately ask for a rematch.

Hall suffered a laceration after his fight against Bjornsson at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium. Please note, this fight takes place after five years of the feud between the two strongest men on earth.

The exhibition fight lasted for six rounds. After the duel, Hall wrote a message to his fans on Instagram.

"You know, I can accept anything like a man. This is what it is, that's boxing", Hall was quoted as saying by Marca, Monday, March 21.

“In the end, I just fought the biggest man on the planet in a boxing match. I want to see other people have the guts and do it.

"It has been a very tiring journey; I enjoyed it and hopefully there is a rematch and we can be in business again.

"I wish everyone out there.. that you guys stay safe, stay positive and you keep moving forward in life."

Hall and Bjornsson have had a fierce rivalry for a long time. Hall is the winner of the 2017 World Strongest Man competition after successfully lifting 500 kilograms of weight.

However, Bjornsson broke his record after he successfully lifted 501 kilograms three years later.

“Eddie, I know I just knocked your notes down. And now I'm ready to take you out in the ring", Björnsson said in an interview at the time.

"Time to put your fist where your big mouth is."

Shortly thereafter, Hall accepted Bjornsson's challenge via YouTube.

"I don't like Thor. I don't like Thor. I don't like Thor. I don't have an agenda to fight Thor, but I feel there is a demand there. I feel like the fans want to see it", Hall said.
