This Company Creates Virtual Office In Metaverse, Employees Can Work In Digital World

JAKARTA – A number of companies are rumored to be setting up offices in the metaverse. Thus employees are likely to have offices in the virtual world. Later the metaverse office will be able to be used for online meetings with international clients and can improve social communication with users.

Cointelegraph reports that a number of companies that have set up offices in the metaverse include Atom and crypto exchange KuCoin. Information only, Atom is a company based in Mumbai and already has an office in the metaverse.

Atom buys virtual property in Decentraland. The company will use new ways to reach international clients. In addition, the company will also use the metaverse office for a number of future Atom events.

Atom leverages the metaverse to target the younger generation and expand its reach globally. This was conveyed by Atom's chief creative officer, Yash Kulshreshtha.

Apart from Atom, the KuCoin crypto exchange is also rumored to already have a virtual office called the KuCoin Meta Office. The office is in the Bloktopia metaverse. KuCoin itself stated that the virtual office will be used to provide a metaverse experience to its visitors. It is also used to access social communication.

“KuCoin is exploring application scenarios for metaverse and blockchain technology,” added KuCoin CEO Johny Lyu.

It didn't stop there, leading architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group partnered with Vice Media Virtue Futures to design a new metaverse office in Decentraland. Dubbed the “Viceverse office,” the digital space will be a hub for Vice Media Group employees.

Virtue Futures executive Morten Grubak described the office as an “experimental playground.” According to Grubak, the office allowed his team to experiment with NFT, DAO, and Web3.

Then there is SCB 10x which is a venture branch of Siam Commercial Bank which has announced its plans to launch a virtual office at The Sandbox. The company's announcement states that the digital office will be released in 2022 and will function as a liaison between the company and the global community. Later, visitors can also attend events, product demonstrations, and visit an office environment that will be designed in a unique and attractive way.
