In The Aftermath Of The Case Of Abuse Of Lover, Greenwood Was Arrested By The Police And Interrogated Today

JAKARTA - Manchester police have arrested Mason Greenwood for questioning this Monday regarding the alleged abuse case against his girlfriend.

Earlier on Sunday, the woman identified as Harriet Robson via her Instagram account @hasrobson posted a number of videos, photos, and audio recordings, along with allegations of violent assault.

She showed bruises all over her body and blood gushing from her mouth.

Robson also uploaded an audio recording of a man's voice forcing her to have sex. But all these uploads have now been deleted.

Manchester United issued the statement after police confirmed an ongoing investigation following allegations that the 20-year-old England forward had violently abused Robson.

“We are aware of the photos and allegations circulating on social media. We will not make further comments until there is evidence. Manchester United does not condone violence in any form," the club said in a statement.

But in a second statement released Sunday night, United clarified Greenwood's current status at Old Trafford.

"Mason Greenwood will not be returning to training or playing a match until further notice."

A Manchester Police spokesman, as quoted by the British Press Association, said: “Manchester Police are aware of the photos and videos circulating on social media. Investigations are ongoing to find out the real situation."

Now, Greenwood has been arrested and will be interrogated.

"An investigation was carried out and after an investigation, we can confirm a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault," Sky Sport reported.

"He remains in custody for questioning," the report continued
