JAKARTA - The iPhone 13 in vibrant colors and the new series of AirPods and Apple Watch may be on the menu when consumers and analysts watch Apple Inc's product launch event, California Streaming, on Tuesday, September 13 evening local time or Thursday afternoon Indonesian Western Time (WIB).

The Silicon Valley company is expected to announce a number of upgrades to its iPhones, including a new A-series chipset, an improved night mode in the camera, and new WiFi specs, at a special event, which will be held virtually at 10 a.m. local time (12.00 p.m. WIB the next day).

Based on various media reports, here are some of the features to expect on the latest Apple devices:

iPHONE 13

The lineup is expected to come in four different formats - the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max - and three new colors like pink, bronze, and graphite gray, according to a CNBC report.

The new iPhones may undergo some design changes such as a smaller notch and could be more expensive than their predecessors.

6E and 5G WIFI

The new iPhone lineup is expected to support the newer and faster 6E Wi-Fi standard and be able to extend blazing-fast millimeter-wave 5G connectivity to more countries.

CAMERA UPGRADE

The Pro lineup is likely to have more advanced cameras that offer a portrait-mode video version, a higher-quality video option called ProRes, and new filters.

They can also use an ultra-wide-angle lens and a wider aperture to shoot better-looking images in low light. The report also suggests that the upgrade will be common across all iPhone 13 models and not limited to the more expensive Pro line.

AIRPODS 3

Third-generation Airpods may get a makeover to resemble the high-end AirPods Pro and feature spatial audio support, according to a Bloomberg report.

APPLE WATCH SERIES 7

The Series 7 may have a bigger screen, a faster processor, and could support 5G. It's also expected to have better battery life, according to a Bloomberg report.
