Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Coming With 200MP Camera And Deep Camera Improvement

JAKARTA - Samsung is rumored to be bringing a significant increase to its folding phone line with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. One of the biggest improvements is the presence of a 200MP main camera on the back, which is the same as the one used on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In addition, the South Korean mobile phone manufacturer will also repair the camera on the inside screen, even though it still uses a 4MP sensor.

According to a report from the GalaxyClub, Samsung will embed the same 200MP sensor as in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This is a major step for the foldable line, which has often been left behind in terms of camera quality compared to conventional flagship smartphones.

However, other cameras are reportedly not experiencing major changes. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will still carry:

- 10MP telephoto with optical zoom capability,- 12MP ultrawide for wide-angle capture, and- 10MP selfie camera on the outside screen.

Samsung is also said to be increasing the camera on the inside screen. Although the main sensor is still 4MP, the quality is claimed to be better than the previous generation. There are no further details yet whether this is thanks to the improvement of under-screen camera technology (under-display camera) or software optimization.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch in July 2025, making it one of the biggest updates in Samsung's foldable series in recent years. With improvements in the camera sector, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be a more attractive option for users who want folding phones without having to sacrifice the quality of photography.
