MotoGP Argentina 2025: Marc Marquez's Trick Or Aprilia's Superiority?

JAKARTA - Marc Marquez came to the 2025 Argentine MotoGP at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo as the leader of the standings.

He defeated his competitors in the 2025 Thailand MotoGP, claiming pole position and then won in the Sprint Race and Grand Prix.

Argentina is not a foreign circuit for Marquez. The Ducati Lenovo Team racer is predicted to repeat his tricks in order to win again.

Dorna broadcaster, Jack Appleyard, does not deny Marquez's favoriteism.

"It was a place where Marquez had dominated in the past. The last time he was here was 2019. He won by almost 10 seconds apart."

"He's already three seconds ahead after just three laps. He's coming to this weekend as a big favorite."

"Everyone in the paddock is full of hopes to see Marquez win in the Sprint Race and Grand Prix this weekend."

"It allows 21 other riders on the grid to pay little attention and potentially take advantage of opportunities," said Jack Appleyard.

However, Marc Marquez must remember that Aprilia has a big chance of being a robber in the Argentine MotoGP.

Aprilia is known to be very strong at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo.

"This is where Aprilia performed strong. Aleix Espargaro won his first Grand Prix victory and for Aprilia a few years ago."

"The last time we were here, Marco Bezzecki won in the rain. Now he is also driving Aprilia."

"You feel it could be a game that takes Bezzecki to the forefront after a strong start at this season's opening Grand Prix," Appleyard said.

Ai Ogura, from the Aprilia Satellite team, Tranckhouse, stole the show in Thailand and may hope to surprise his more experienced opponents once again.

"How impressive was he two weeks ago? Best qualifying rookie appearance since Fabio Quartararo in 2019."

"He supported him by finishing in the top five in Thailand, the best Grand Prix performance by a rookie since Marquez in 2013."

"He is the best non-Ducati, only 7.5 seconds adrift of Marquez. We said earlier that he is a person to pay attention to," said Appleyard.

The worst concern about the track conditions at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo Argentina has also eased.

This means that exciting races will be presented and spectators will be presented with a battle whether Marquez's tricks or Aprilia's strength will win the main race.
