Rachel Zegler-Gal Gadot Dragged With Many Issues, Snow White Premiere Made More Casual

JAKARTA - Disney will release their latest film, Snow White, which is an adaptation of their classic film. However, they plan to promote it in a casual and different way than usual.

Launching Variety, the premiere of this film will be held at El Capitan Theater, United States and its two main stars: Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot are planned to attend. However, the planned red carpet will not be filled by the media as usual.

This is considered a form of Disney guard to avoid controversy after two of its main stars received a negative reaction ahead of the production of the film.

The iconic character Snow White is described through a woman with a white face, but a negative reaction is given by fans when Rachel Zegler is selected as the live action version of Snow White.

Zegler also received a negative response when he called the original Snow White film ancient because his prince stalked Snow White.

Snow White's film is different now. She (Snow White) will not be saved by the prince. She doesn't want true love. She dreams of becoming the leader she wants," Rachel Zegler said of her version of Snow White.

Not only that, this film also depicts Snow White with seven dwarfs who received criticism from actor Peter Dinklage. The actor who suffers from dwarfism considers the depiction of the seven dwarfs irrelevant to the present.

Disney responded by explaining that they were making new depictions with the characters of seven dwarfs, and they even consulted with members of the dwarf community.

Rachel Zegler has also been highlighted for promoting Free Palestine! on social media while her co-star Gal Gadot is an Israeli woman who supports Israel.

Zegler also received criticism from Donald Trump's supporters after he wrote on Instagram as follows, "Hopefully Trump's supporters and Trump and Trump's own voters will never know peace."
