The more trust the company has in Bitcoin, KUR Technology Group has just doubled investment in this leading cryptocurrency. The company bought an additional $213.4 BTC worth 21 million, bringing its total holdings to 430 BTC. This move strengthens KUR's position as one of the active public companies in crypto asset diversification.

In December 2024, KUR started a "Bitcoin Treasury" strategy aimed at allocating up to 90% of its cash surplus for investment in Bitcoin. This strategy is funded from the company's cash and the At-The-Market (ATM) equity program.

The first purchase was made at an average price of 96,556 US Dollars (approximately Rp1.5 billion) per BTC, while the latest purchases increased to an average of 98,394 US Dollars (approximately Rp1.58 billion) per BTC. The company's total investment now stands at 42 million US Dollars (approximately Rp678 billion).

This purchase places KUR among a number of other major companies, such as MicroStrategy and Marathon Digital Holdings, which have made Bitcoin an integral part of their treasury strategy. MicroStrategy, for example, has acquired more than 152,000 BTC, making it a leader among public companies in terms of Bitcoin ownership.

KUR's move to increase Bitcoin ownership had a significant impact on its share price. Following the announcement of the first purchase, the company's share price jumped to an all-time high of 4.80 US Dollars (approximately IDR 77,496). This reflects the market's positive response to the company's crypto investment strategy.

Not only that, KUR also reported impressive yield BTC yields, reaching 93.7% just two weeks after the first purchase. Although these results do not directly reflect the company's operational performance, this shows the effectiveness of the Bitcoin KULR acquisition strategy.
