JAKARTA The threads continue to roll out new features to improve user experience on its platform. This time, Meta's microblogging platform will launch a feed based on topics its users like.
Some time ago the Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced that they were starting to test special feeds. This feature will help users to follow the latest news or monitor popular topics, such as K-Pop, technology, or sports.
To get a customized special feed, users only need to search for the desired topic and tap on the topic. After that, tap the three-dot icon next to the search term, then select the Create New Feed menu.
In addition to doing this method, users can also add a profile to the feed by clicking the three-dot icon in a profile, then tap Add it to the Feed. Next, you will be asked to select the desired feed.

To view the customized feed, users only need to open Home and shift the screen to the side. This special feed will be displayed in the same bar with the tab For You and Follow.
"The special Fed will feature a joint submission from the profile you have added and search results for selected topics," Threads Spokesperson Alec Booker told The Verge. "This fee is shown in reverse chronological order."
For now, the customized feed has just rolled out to a small fraction of users around the world. Threads are maximizing the feature before testing it to more users. If the feedback for the feature is good enough, Threads will release it in a stable version.
