JAKARTA Kawan Berhagia, a community consisting of recipients of the Advanced Indonesia Scholarship (BIM) to prepare for foreign education, held Robotic Training at SMAN 28 on Friday, October 25.
The event was attended by students from several schools, such as SMA Negeri 8, SMA Negeri 109, SMA Negeri 3, SMA Wardaya, SMP 103, SMP Sudirman, and many more. In holding this event, the Kawan Berjura Community collaborated with SMAN 28 and Pelindo Teaching.
This event was also attended by Yuli Sri Wilanti as Assistant Deputy for Agribusiness Development Holticulture Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and Freude TPH as Directorate of Marine Services at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.
Rahmadewi Hardjanti Taloputri, a member of Kawan Berhagia, explained that robotics is one of the fields that members want to teach students in various schools. Although Robotics material has not been taught in all schools, Rahma believes that this field will be needed in the future.
"We are a community that often shares, especially in the fields of mathematics, English, and robotics. We want to share knowledge for students, high schools and junior high schools, which in the future will be the next generation of the nation to support Indonesia Emas 2045," Rahma told VOI.
During the Robotics Training, all students were taught the importance of using and utilizing Arduino's microcontroller boards. This open-source platform can be applied in various sectors such as agriculture, port, and marine.
In the presentation session on Agricultural Digitization, Yuli explained that technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT) Agriculture also needs to be integrated into agriculture. Farmers need this technology to increase productivity, cost efficiency, and others.
Meanwhile, the topic of port was carried out by Pelindo Commercial, Operation and Engineering Manager, M. Rizwan Nasution. Rizwan explained that digitalization is closely related to vehicles and systems used at ports.

Arduino technology can be integrated into the port control system to increase efficiency from various sides. Thanks to this technology, the port can implement an automation system.
"Digitalization can be improved with Arduino robotics. Not only digital systems, but it can be connected, connected, or integrated with a mechanical system," said Rizwan. "The port is all robotic, it's a system. (the efficiency) feels at cost and time."
Meanwhile, Freude explained the importance of using technology in exploring the ocean. Currently, drones such as underwater technology are still difficult to develop and are very expensive. Therefore, Freude motivates students to develop robotics that can be useful in the future.
"This event is something that should be in all schools," Freude said. "This theme is relevant to technological developments. We hope our children are not just spectators, they can be actors and of course create good robots for our future."
