JAKARTA - During the Apsara Conference, Alibaba Cloud's annual conference, the cloud company from Alibaba Group launched more than 100 of its newest AI models, including Qwen 2.5, to the global open-source community.
The new open-source Qwen 2.5 model is a smarter model and has more powerful capabilities in mathematics and coding, and supports more than 29 languages, which serve a variety of AI applications.
Through the launch of Qwen 2.5, Alibaba Cloud will make more than 100 of its AI models open-source available, covering a wide range of modalities such as language, audio, and visuals, as well as dedicated code and mathematical models.
"Today's open source initiative launch is an important achievement, as it is our biggest investment in open-source to date," Jingren Zhou, Chief Technology Officer of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence said at the conference on Thursday, September 19.
