Pemalang Regent Genapi Lists 12 Regional Heads who were Caught in the KPK OTT in 2026

Pemalang - Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro became the 12th regional head to be caught in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) hand-in-hand operation (OTT) throughout 2026. It is not yet known what case the Golkar Party politician was arrested by the KPK Task Force.

Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto when confirmed by reporters, Wednesday, July 29, confirmed that the KPK arrested Regent Anom Widiyantoro on Tuesday, July 28. However, he has not revealed the alleged criminal acts that ensnared Anom.

The KPK has also not disclosed the number of people who were caught in OTT or the amount of cash secured because the task force team is still working in the field.

The KPK will then take Anom to the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, to undergo an intensive examination. The anti-corruption agency has 1 x 24 hours to determine the legal status of Anom and other parties who were caught in the OTT.

Throughout 2026, the KPK has ensnared 11 regional heads through OTT with various alleged criminal acts, ranging from bribes, extortion, to the acceptance of gratification. With the arrest of Anom Widiyantoro, the number of regional heads who have been ensnared by the KPK OTT this year has increased to 12 people.
