Ciputat Timur - The head of the Ciputat Timur Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, said that the suspect TRS, a security guard who was the mastermind of the theft of thousands of stainless food trays (ompreng) belonging to the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of the MBG program in Ciputat Village, was suspected of being positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.

This was known, said Bambang, after a series of investigations and urine tests were carried out on suspects in non-criminal cases of theft handled by his party.

"From the results of the urine test to a security guard, we got positive results for amphetamine and methamphetamine. We can enter from there," said the Head of the Bambang Police in Tangerang, Wednesday, July 29, reported by ANTARA.

In the disclosure of this fact, it began with the results of handling the criminal case of theft of 1,700 units of SPPG ompreng received on Wednesday (8/7).

After the information, he said, the Criminal Investigation Unit carried out a series of investigations based on several pieces of evidence and instructions from surveillance cameras (CCTV) at the crime scene (TKP).

"The police found a clue that one of the security officers (security guard) who was employed in the SPPG kitchen had bad habits based on information from the Pokdarkamtibmas," he said.

However, the police officers finally identified a security guard who was suspected of being involved in the theft case with other perpetrators.

Then, on Sunday (26/7) the police managed to secure another suspect with the initials DC, and GZ, while there was another suspect with the initials H, and still had the status of a wanted person (DPO).

Based on the results of the examination, said Bambang, the suspects have different roles in carrying out the theft.

According to him, the TRS suspect (Security Guard) played a very dominant role as the creator or brain that made the theft scenario and ordered others to commit the crime.

Meanwhile, the other two suspects, namely DC and GZ, played a role as parties who also carried out the theft and as recipients of the results of the theft of thousands of SPPG ompreng.

"From the results of the investigation, it was found that the stolen goods were then sold by the perpetrators to gain personal profit. The police also managed to secure some evidence as part of the investigation process," he said.

As a result of the theft, a number of kitchen inventory items were lost, including two units of Rinei brand gas stoves, 1,700 stainless food trays (ompreng), one unit of Turbo brand blender, one unit of Epson L3251 printer, one unit of Krisbow brand generator, one set of Power Box and CCTV recorder, and a bundle of gate keys.

For their actions, said Bambang, the suspects were charged with Article 477 paragraph (1) letters e and g of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, with a maximum sentence of nine years in prison.
