IPhone 16 Now Gets IOS 18.1 Beta Update With Apple Intelligence Feature

JAKARTA - Apple on September 9 just announced the iPhone 16 which will be coming with the iOS 18 operating system. Although iOS 18 will be available for the previous iPhone model next week, this first update doesn't include the Apple Intelligence feature yet. However, Apple is currently testing iOS 18.1 beta, and iPhone 16 owners can install the beta version from the first day they got their new phone.

Apple's 18.1 beta iOS update is now available for the iPhone 16 model. This is good news for users already running iOS 18.1 beta 3 on their devices, as they can update their new iPhone 16 to beta with the Apple Intelligence feature as soon as they remove the device from the box.

The main feature in iOS 18.1 beta is a series of Apple Intelligence tools. Some of them are writing aids, the Clean Up feature in the Photo app, as well as the ability to summarize text and notifications.

Siri also got a new interface, although the new language model that enhances the intelligence of the virtual assistant has not been included in this update.

It's important to note that today's beta version for the iPhone 16 is the same as the beta 3 available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple also announced that iOS 18.1 will be released to the public in October, while iOS 18.2 is slated for release later this year with more Apple Intelligence features.

To use the Apple Intelligence feature, users need an iPhone 15 Pro or a newer model, an iPad with an M1 chip or later, or a Mac with an M1 chip or later.
