Puan then explained that the discussion of the bill could go fast or slow, depending on the level of change and the material discussed.
"Bills that are quickly discussed are usually those whose changes are not too much, such as one verse or one article. If it starts from zero, it usually takes a long time. The discussion process between the DPR and the government takes time," he said.
The Youth Parliament is a DPR program for high school, vocational school, and equivalent MA students to participate in a simulation of being a council member and the trial process.
A total of 12 best participants in 2024 and 2025 are scheduled to attend a meeting with Puan. One participant was unable to attend and was scheduled to follow up during the MPR Annual Meeting on August 14.
Puan hopes that participants can explain their experiences participating in the program, including through social media.
"Hopefully, the participants of Parja can see that there are still many people working in the DPR, it's just not covered in the media," he said.
