Pixel Buds Pro 2 Leaks: More Expensive Prices And Design Changes

JAKARTA Pixel Buds Pro was launched for the first time by Google in May 2022, at the same time as Pixel 6a phones. Now, the company is developing a second generation of Pixel Buds Pro. Various leaks about this audio device have continued to circulate over the past few weeks, ranging from design to price. According to the Android Headlines report, Pixel Buds Pro 2 will have a larger casing than the original version. In terms of design, Google will change the shape of its earbuds slightly. This audio device will have a new bulge near the end of the ear which seems to add stabilization. In addition to the bulge, the design will be the same as the previous generation. Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be present in four colors, namely Charcoal, Porcelain, Aloe, and Hot Pink. This color choice is far less than the previous generation present in six colors. Reportedly, Aloe's color was launched to match the Pixel 8a. Meanwhile, another leak from Dealabs revealed that this audio device will be priced at 219 euros (Rp3.8 million) to 249 (Rp4.3 million). This price is much more expensive because the Pixel Buds Pro is sold starting at a price of 179 euros (Rp3.1 million).

All of these leaks show that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is getting closer to the launch schedule. However, until now, it is not known when Google will officially release its audio devices and sell them to the Pixel market. Not a few predict that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be launched at the Made by Google event in August. The event will be held on Tuesday, August 13 to launch the Pixel 9 series and other newest hardware.
