IPhone SE 4 Use The Latest Chipset To Present Apple Intelligence

JAKARTA In addition to launching the iPhone 16, Apple will launch the latest generation iPhone SE. Reportedly, this entry-level device will be using a chipset that supports various Apple Intelligence features. Reporting from 9to5mac, the iPhone SE 4 will use the same chipset as the iPhone 16 series, namely A18. It is not yet known how much RAM will be used to support Apple's Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature. It seems that, between 6GB and 8GB. If rumors of using the A18 chipset are correct, Apple seems to want to return to the concepts in the past. Before launching the iPhone 14, the Pro and non-Pro models will use the same chipset, it's just that the CPU and GPU cores are different. However, since the iPhone 14 series was launched, Apple has started to distinguish chips for Pro models. This device feels more exclusive to its differentiated performance and chipset, according to its much more expensive price than other iPhone models.

Since Apple introduced the Apple Intelligence innovation at the WWDC 2024 event, it has been revealed that this AI technology has only been added to the A17 Pro chipset and is newer. Apparently, this is what underlies the use of the A18 chipset on the iPhone SE 4. Although the iPhone SE is categorized as Apple's cheapest phone, it always uses the latest chipset from Apple. However, the iPhone SE was last launched in 2022 so that Apple could use the A16 Bionic chipset or A17. The selection of the A18 chipset for the iPhone SE 4 will bring a better performance than the previous generation. By bringing Apple Intelligence to the iPhone SE 4, this phone can reach more markets at a more affordable price.
