JAKARTA - Entering the 29th year of age, Telkomsel is always committed to providing the best service through various initiatives, innovations, and concrete actions to strengthen national digital inclusion.

"To achieve this, we are carrying out a new mission by trying to be able to provide innovative, superior connectivity, services and solutions for everyone at home and business activities to open up all opportunities," said Telkomsel President Director Nugroho as quoted by VOI Monday, May 27.

This new vision and mission will later become the company's commitment to continue to move forward to make a real contribution so that it continues to be a trusted partner of society and the nation.

For 29 years, Telkomsel has consistently provided and improved the connectivity of leading broadband network infrastructure that is equitable and equivalent, presenting the first and widest 5G network in Indonesia covering more than 53 cities/districts, and has been utilized to support several sectors such as robotic telesurgery, marine mobile, warehouse management and smart mining.

Telkomsel is also the first to present a 4G network on the PELNI Ship, then become one of the founders of Autonomous Networks in the world that has been implemented in Indonesia so that the network can detect, diagnose, optimize, and restore functions independently and automatically faster. Currently, Telkomsel has 257,300 BTS spread across the country.

The real impact of Telkomsel's contribution is strengthened by the results of research and the latest research conducted by the Demographic Institute, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (LDUI) entitled Telkomsel Internet Penetration Contribution to the Indonesian Economy in the Era of Digital Economy.

This study states that Telkomsel is not only a pioneer in providing telecommunications services, but is also a driving force in spurring the growth of the digital economy in Indonesia.
