Mitsubishi Fuso Strengthens Consumer Competence Through VIP Fleet Training 2026

JAKARTA - The development of commercial vehicle technology makes business actors not only consider the quality and capabilities of vehicles. The competence of human resources who operate and maintain the fleet is also an important factor to ensure that vehicles can support business productivity to the maximum.

Seeing the need, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) as the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) commercial vehicles in Indonesia has again held the 2026 VIP Fleet Training. This five-day program is aimed at fleet customers and mechanics to increase their understanding and skills in managing Mitsubishi Fuso vehicles.

The training covers various materials, ranging from the characteristics of Mitsubishi Fuso vehicles, Euro 4 technology, to the introduction of the eCanter electric truck. Participants also receive training on vehicle maintenance and the use of digital technology that can help maintain fleet performance while reducing potential downtime.

"Commercial vehicle technology continues to evolve and become more sophisticated. We want to ensure that consumers not only have reliable commercial vehicles, but are also able to maintain and operate them optimally to maintain their business productivity," said Sales and Marketing Director of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors, Aji Jaya, quoted from his statement, Saturday, August 8.

VIP Fleet Training 2026 was attended by 19 participants from 12 fleet companies. In total, these companies operate more than 2,200 Mitsubishi Fuso Euro 4 vehicles. Participants come from various backgrounds, ranging from mechanics, business owners, to personnel responsible for fleet management.

During the training, participants received material on vehicle maintenance techniques, product characteristics, Euro 4 technology, and semi-overhaul engine practices. In addition, KTB also provided an understanding of the use of Fuso Genuine Parts and Three Diamond Spare Parts as well as the utilization of Runner Telematics and MyFUSO as digital solutions to increase operational efficiency and help reduce potential downtime.

One of the participants, Muhammad Alfan from PT Murni Nusantara Mandiri (MSG Group), assessed that the program provided direct benefits for fleet management. Not only getting technical materials, participants also had the opportunity to discuss with the Mitsubishi Fuso technical team about various problems that are often encountered in vehicle operations.

"We found a lot of things, especially for maintenance services, knowledge about the Fighter X and Canter products, so that in maintenance and spare parts problems we understand very well with this training. Then until the repair if there is troubleshooting, we are given a very good briefing for us to apply it later in our company," said Muhammad Alfan.

The VIP Fleet Training 2026 series was then supplemented with a visit by participants to the Mitsubishi Fuso booth at the 2026 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). On this occasion, participants can see firsthand various innovations in commercial vehicles and business solutions offered by Mitsubishi Fuso.

The visit was also part of the momentum of certification after participants completed the entire series of training. At the Mitsubishi Fuso booth, they were also introduced to a number of flagship products, including the newly launched Canter Extra-Long Bus and eCanter which is a pioneer of electric trucks in Indonesia.

In addition to products, participants also get an overview of the development of the Zero Down Time concept, which is now supported by integrated after-sales service options and digital solutions. This approach is aimed at helping consumers optimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while keeping vehicles productive in supporting business activities.
