JAKARTA Disney Plus is a streaming service that presents a variety of films and series. This application usually displays videos according to the user's choice, not limiting like a channel on television. However, Disney plans to present channels that will always be active and eliminate the choice of shows for users. Quoting from TheInformation, this active channel will be created for Star Wars, Marvel events, or Pixar-made films. The news is that users have to subscribe to watching the channel. Even though they have paid, users will continue to see advertisements such as the streaming service Pluto and Tubi. The concept of this channel is like traditional television. The addition of active channels is one of Disney's efforts to pamper its users through various interesting shows. The company wants to keep its customers active using Disney Plus services.

Organizing certain events for a full 24 hours is a good plan, but it is not yet known when this plan will be launched. Disney also doesn't want to comment on plans to add active channels. In fact, the addition of ad-supported active channels (FAST) is indeed popular on various video streaming services. Apart from Tubi and Pluto, Amazon also provides FAST services on Prime Video via the Freevee platform. Unlike Disney Plus, users don't have to pay to watch on the Freevee platform. Unfortunately, this special service from Prime Video is not available in all countries. This service is also not available in Indonesia.
